Airplane theft a possible UFO Abduction
KINGSTON (dim) -- Recent UFO sightings in the area are now the primary focus in a recent case where a plane went missing from Norman Rogers Airport and mysteriously crashed in Smiths Falls without pilot or the keys, police say.
According to Perth OPP, whoever or whatever stole the plane was not in the cockpit when the Cessna 210 hit the ground at around 8:30 AM Sunday morning. "The plane is demolished," said Ontario Provincial Police Staff Sgt. Gerry Salisbury, "There were no signs of injury, no blood, no body parts, no body clothing, no footprints, nothing."
The small single engine plane was not equipped with a parachute, due to poor door size / wind velocity ratio making arial escape nearly impossible, and a key was not found in the area. There was gas in the tank, and all controls were still working. Police say the plane appears to have been dropped from a much larger object. "Aliens were probably returning it, but dropped it when they detected airport staff arriving for work," says David Downes, Alien Abduction Expert for Kingston SETI, "They have been known to study our means of transportation."
An investigator from the federal Transportation Safety Board arrived in Smiths Falls last night and will inspect the airplane for well-known radioactive signatures today. "This has been going on for about 6 months," said Downes, "Things have mysteriously disappeared for a few days, and then reappear in other cities. In every case, a similar radio-activity reading was taken." Police were unable to confirm or deny rumours that the plane's clock was three and a half hours behind.
"You don't see this kind of thing every day," said Salisbury, "No missing persons reported, no major crimes that could be related."
